Our concept was awarded an honorable mention in the SARP architectural competition for the Rybnik Municipal Stadium. The primary premise was to create a facility that harmoniously fits into and opens toward the surrounding landscape—nearby green spaces, the Rybnik Reservoir, and adjacent walking paths. We designed a lightweight, transparent form that does not overpower the landscape, but subtly blends into it. The stands allow spectators to enjoy both sporting events and views of the surrounding greenery and city skyline. Thanks to the open facades, the stadium is not an enclosed, isolated monolith, but permeates with its surroundings, enabling a free flow of air, light, and sightlines.
